Mesh Crime Screen on a school window plus the view from inside
As an excellent alternative to Security Shutters, Window Bars or Retractable Gates, our Crime Screens will cover the whole of your windows and stop missiles breaking the glass.
Hi-SECURE Crime Screens are available with two alternative infills:
- Transparent polycarbonate is virtually unbreakable with everyday hand-tools, impact-resistant, UV stable and transparent, so it is eminently suitable for offices, community centres, schools, etc. This bullet-resistant security material has been tested and approved by the relevant government agencies.
- Steel security mesh using steel sheet perforated with round holes. Powder-coated in black, this gives plenty of light access and the pattern fools the eye into seeing the exterior view, so the viewer thinks the window has been shaded. This avoids a ‘closed-in’ feeling for the occupants of the building. However, to a burglar the screens are a powerful deterrent and a robust defence against vandalism or hand-thrown missiles.
You can choose the right infill system for your site and also the colour of the alloy surround frames. The standard frame colours are powder-coated in white or black, with a large range of extra colours at a small additional charge.
