Vandalism and burglary are continuing problems for many of us and windows are particularly vulnerable, especially if not overlooked by otherbuildings. Window security has become a major concern for a number of Local Authorities, companies and other organisations.
There are many window grilles and security window products generally available and Hi-SECURE can provide a number of systems, but when the requirement is window security from the risk of burglary rather than vandalism, an internal and highly visible product can be the right solution.
As an alternative to ‘Crime Screens’ or Security Shutters, Hi-SECURE Collapsible Gates or Window Bars would be fitted inside the building, often in the window reveals. Both products allow plenty of light access but give a powerful visual deterrent to a burglar.
Collapsible Gates use solid steel materials, pre-galvanised and powder-coated. Many customers select white as the colour, and we offer a range of standard colours at the same price. Hi-SECURE Gates are available in either ‘X’ or ‘S’ lattice at the same price. The ‘S’ lattice is often chosen in an office environment as it is more ‘elegant’ than the ‘X’ lattice.

Gates are usually locked with a key and if you need multiple Gates installed together we can provide all keys to the same profile.
Hi-SECURE Window Bars (a.k.a. ‘Burglar Bars’) are usually welded into fixed frames, or they can be removable and locked in place with a key. White is the standard colour for the powder-coated finish, or others at a small extra charge.
